I just spent half an hour using grip to grip some mp3's. 8.0 fresh install. Right. The mp3 directory created has all these .ogg files, all of uniform size (128) and unplayable on xmms. The only thing I changed from the stock setup was the encoding bitrate under configmp3options. None too
