Wanted to pass along some problems that I am having on a laptop.
1. Everytime I unplug or plug in the power cord (with laptop up) it locks

Also, do you have cups installed? Is cups set to start at boot? (there is a
sleep and kill -HUP to smbd if cups is installed, to give CUPS some time to load
printers).

the services which were running when the system crashed. Because of

I figured it out. For some reason, lpstat was set to manual in

I also have problems with eroaster. It used to be my primary cdrom maker, but
it ceased to work about a month ago.
