I had a similar problem. Everything looked good on my local devices, but
images in Google Photos came back looking washed out. The problem went
away after I set display profile and export file format to sRGB (web safe).

This is why the output color profile setting should stay at the default (sRGB).
So this means if I select sRGB as the output profile, it should show
correctly in applications that are not color-managed?
That was kind of my goal.

Thank you for your quick reply Roman!
Here's the output of darktable-cmstest:

Hi all.
I've been trying to fix my color management workflow for a while, but
I've gotten nowhere so far,
I was hoping maybe someone here could help.
What I'm trying to do is get a raw from my camera, edit it in dark
table, and then post it on the web,
say on instagram.

Hello,
as you can find here "

I had a similar problem.
In the end I bought a 1050ti (Asus EX-GTX 1050 TI-4G) and I'm pretty happy
with the final performance result.
My box:

ram: 8gb

Hi Ariel,
I downloaded it here:
/>> http://www.mirada.ch/bench.SRW[1]/

put both in one directory and run:
Opencl enabled:
darktable-cli bench.SRW test.jpg --core -d perf -d opencl
Opencl disabled:
darktable-cli bench.SRW test.jpg --core --disable-opencl
I did not expect to work with different versions (ppa vs. repository
from my distribution), just recognized during I try to get that working.
After installing the ppa version on PC, I observed the expected behavior.
Thank you all together!

Disclaimer: Pure speculation.
Dear users,
imagine the following situation: I have two computers in my LAN, call
them PC and LP. If I am working on LP, I usually mount the releated
folder structure with my photographs from PC via sshfs. Recently I was
working on my LP and switched to PC later, but I could not manage to see
