Yeah, this is one of those instances of a venue within a venue. "The San
Diego Community Concourse" refers to the complex as a whole and "Golden
Hall" refers to the building. In the deadlists venue database we currently
have this venue listed as:

Although I was living in South Lake Tahoe during the summer of '71, I'm from
San Diego originally and I'm pretty sure that the venue for this show would

I remember a few years ago there was a discussion here regarding the correct

It looks to me as though Eaton's list notes for 2/4/69 are actually posted

This poster is bogus as are most posters
that list "Greatful Dead". Also Zappa was in the studio producing "Trout Mask

Interesting piece but, in my opinion, almost certainly a fake.

I'm not sure exactly what's happening but while reviewing some of the '69

Zane Kesey is alive and well. It was Jed Kesey who, like Ken had been, was

On another somewhat off-topic subject, has there been a change in the ISP
hosting the site? The reason I ask is that about a week or so ago, I don't
recall the exact date, all of a sudden I've started receiving two of every

Don't you mean UJB through I know You Rider? Me & My Uncle was played in
the first set which you said was clean through Midnight Hour.
"...The drummers start Wipe Out (apparently also
sometimes referred to as "Pipeline") in response to a
request from the audience for "Wipe Out."
Actually "Wipe Out" by The Safaris and "Pipeline" by The
Chantays are two different songs.
Does anyone have a set list and/or a list of players for
the various songs and jams that were played the closing
night at Fillmore West after Santana's set? Thanks.
If anyone here has a copy of the jewel case inserts that
Don Pasewark did, along with Jim Wise's commentary, for

would you please email me privately? Thanks.

Hey Paul,
I was at this show (my 2nd) and have a CDR copy from the
KMET FM broadcast.
The NRPS set is actually:
I Dont Know You
Fair Chance To Know
Down In The Boondocks
Glendale Train
Last Lonely Eagle
Henry
Dirty Business
Truck Drivin Man
Send Me A Rainbow
Also memorable in that throughout
I seem to remember some dialog regarding these fire
balls from a couple of years ago...
I can also testify to being present at some Fillmore
West and Winterland shows during this time period and
clearly recall Boots igniting these explosions. I do not
recall seeing any flash paper, but I do remem
