Attachment: DELTASPIKE-generic-config.patch
Attaching a patch
Hi guys,
opened https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DELTASPIKE-1037
WDYT about this feature?
Side note: wondered if we should support List/Map with the same coercing
logic, these types are quite common IMHO.

Doesnt it break data design? Why not using the em if it is what you need?
One doesnt prevent the other.

JBoss should have EJBContainer as well. That said how the initial proposal
- reimplementing if I understood - solves the JBoss users need better than
using openejb?

Hi guys,
seems we can't use data module without asm proxies. Is it intended? I kind
of liked the fact to rely on JVM proxies and don't see any real reason to
not continue since we rely on InvocationHandler where interceptors can be
handled.
What do I miss?
Romain Manni-Bucau
@rmannibucau <ht
Not exactly. If unclear read my question as: why do we *require* asm now.
Before we were falling back on bytecode generation only when needed, ie not
for interfaces. Why did we decided to break that?

Think the question is: we'll we add any feature EE 6 users will start
working with? If yes we should stick to it, if not then just target EE

read/misread or some copy/paste are done without understanding. Best as a
user is to come and say: this https://github.com/me/demo project doesnt

Quoting the doc:
In case of some versions of Weld (or OpenWebBeans in BDA mode), you have to
configure it as a global alternative instead of an alternative in

If it didnt work with this it is either an issue on your side or an unknow

Hey John
What is the point? Being portable whatever jaxrs impl?
Maybe we can try to have cxf doing it with few refactoring?
Batche has one trivial impl as well but sounds like wider than DS and
belonging to a jaxrs impl to me.
