I looked into the solution of Geronimo, and it looks great. Probably we
could use this mechanism not only for the ports, but also for some other
configuration parameters, like e.g. the database host and driver. WDYT?
We do have a working solution, but this is by far not as nice

will be for next day
The best way would be to open a Jira, distribute work with, at least, Erwan, then create patches. I don't think we need a branch for

Maybe it would be easier if we simplify the existing classes (and application
code that uses them) to use only a subset of the methods available (some of
them are already deprecated); the refactoring based on design patterns will be
easier at that point.

I agree that the decorator pattern could improve the Delegator
implementation.
Some time ago I had suggested using the decorator pattern to support DB
localization - which would eliminate the need for the clunky
LocalizedMap interface/implementations - but there wasn't much interest
in it.

Long ago for Facility in French I have decided to use Lieu de stockage (though
a facility could be more it's used in this sense in OFBiz. De toute façon
Facilité n'a pas ce sens en français ;)
Facility is more general than Lieu de stockage so I propose Service instead of
