would be interesting to have a list of situations, common activities and
contexts that could related to the mobile design. The list would help us to
reflect upon mobile and would be truly INSPIRATIONAL for all the designers.
Personally, I'm finding that I'm able to apply what I learn in the classroom
(part-time grad business program) directly to my job. My experience with a
full-time grad program in HCI was the same as others (i.e. I loved having time
to really ruminate on things), but there are plenty of full-time

Is it really that different in large corporations and even design firms working
with remote clients? We're not talking about BFA programs / inexperienced
designers but graduate design education for folks already working in the field
(hence executive), which is a different niche /

strategy at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.

Sorry to be so late chiming in on this thread. I thought I'd hear something
from the RPI faculty about the phasing out of HCI distance program, or
clarify what is happened, and I haven't yet.
I am a product (PhD) of the same dept and took many of the core classes that
are part of this program.
Ach, I spoke too soon. RPI is phasing out ALL distance learning graduate
degrees and certificate programs, meaning polymer chemistry, mechanical
engineering, all that (all those courses that I had to upload in that damn
distance catalog).
