Is there a way to pick up other digital radio stations through the
squeezebox? (SB1, SS 6.0.x)
For example - I was at a friend's place the other day listening to 'Q'
digital radio station through a TV set-top box. I got to thinking that
if SB can play BBC radio stations, is there anything

feed available for Q here:

Is there any documentation on how to manipulate the SB2 display
anywhere?
The only plugin that seems to do anything with it is SlimTris and I

What about putting the buttons on the top? This would only work if
the sb is the top piece of equipment but it would give it a cleaner
front.

The way do to it for graphic display is to return a full screen bitmap. Custom characters won't work for graphics displays I'm
afraid.

But the original screensaver overlayed the snow on top of the now
playing display or date screensaver as I recall - is it possible to do

Its definately possible to have both displayed at the same time - just include
the text and bitmap in the same display hash.
What's harder would be to locate the snow based on the rendering of the text. If you are cunning you could call $client-render
with a display hash containing the text

Most apps written in C++ or .Net seem to work pretty well in Windows,

The strange thing is, I thought that I had used the browse music
folder and rescanned the library since this download. I did have to
reload some of my programs recently. (I did a recovery of WindowsXP
I was just doing a wipe rescan of my server to remove some unused
genre entries (I'd just deleted some old music files) and it died
during the scan. From the application log:

Actually, ReplayGain is set to Smart by default.
I'd personally prefer it if it was set off by default. Although I
suppose that if you didn't want to use ReplayGain, you wouldn't have
the tags in your music in the first place???
Anyway, I've switched it off now, but I might have a play with it
