I have had my SB3's setup for around a week now and last night 6 red
lines appeared on the display of one. The text is still clear and the
lines stay visible when the screensaver is on. I powered down and the
lines remain on startup.

Using Slimserver 6.2.1 I notice the following behaviour
browsing by Artist or Genre from either the player or
the WEB insterface:
Under each artist is a list of albums and, if a song by that artist

Usually those devices are closed to the user - no way to install anything.
Maybe somebody out there finds a way to hack the underlaying linux system
an install Slimserver as they've done with other devices before...

On my side, I just had lots of dropouts and checked Activity Monitor,
CPU usage was to the max. I was streaming music to the SB2 using
Nicecast. Once I selected to play directly a song and stopped Nicecast
things went fine.

the player hasn't been able to find your server automatically.
Make sure that SlimServer is running on the computer and that you

tried a Find New and Changed Music and a Clear and Rescan. I'm on

Prior to installing a nightly release on a new PC, pressing Now
Playing would show the song when playing internet radio. Now it just
shows the source, i.e. radioioEDGE.
Is this a setting or should I go back to the official release?
