I'm not sure how I can achieve this and I suspect it's not possible but here goes anyway. My Squeezeboxes are on random mix pretty much full time. That can give me an issue if music with bad language is played at an inopportune time such as when children or 'sensitive' people are in the house.

Native WMA playing has only recently been added to the Squeezebox firmware, not sure if its made it into Softsqueeze yet (you mention version 2.2 which makes me think you mean Softsqueeze rather than Squeezebox). Slimserver will play AAC files, though the extension is more usually M4A, I think -
