True, and I did this, but the output is silent as the script runs as a daemon. So, I manually ran the server and this is the issue I have after installing the port. In other words, running the rc.conf script just looks like this, with no server running: # /usr/local/etc/rc.d/slimserver.sh

Then one of two things is happening -- either the files have two tags (they can have id3v1 and id3v2 tags at the same time), or SS is guessing based on folder structure and file name. I don't think it guesses genre tags though, so the two tags thing is most likely. MP3Tag can make it clear
