If you don't do any web surfing via the server computer, after reinstalling windoze, disable automatic updates. All you need is for it to run- you don't need all the updates. I can't count the number of problems that stopped happening after I disabled auto updates in my win2k machine. M$ OSes a

Have you looked in the Windows event log for Slimserver related errors? Did you empty or rename your plugin directory before doing an upgrade? If you upgraded from 3.x to 6.5.x, then I suspect that any plugin's you had installed will no longer work. You don't mention what browser your using. You

You could also try a factory reset (disconnect power and hold down Add on the remote while reconnecting power). I have to hit the power button twice to get mine to reconnect as someone else suggested. I find a factory reset fixes it for a while and then it comes back again. Not very satisfactory

An Onkyo is a good bet. They have plenty of power at resonable prices. I have had several over the years and they never dissapoint. On the higher end go with the lower end NAD series. Still better is the Rotel integrated amp; I use that in one of my applications with my SB3 and it is wondefull. It

Maybe its because I use iTunes to rip and manage my music and I don't mess around with a lot of the settings, but I find the UI to be incredibly easy to use in terms of finding the music I want to play and creating playlists, etc. I did spend some time making sure the file types are set the way I

I think that not all tags are correct. I've had also some strange differences and i used M3tag for viewing all my tags of 700 albums and there where several tracks with incomplete tags. I checked all tags and corrected them. Now there is still 1 difference. Before it was more then 100. -- point
