You could try doing a factory reset on the controller (it's probably the first step tech support would ask you to do anyway). You do this by holding down the add button (+) while you power on the controller. Of course it should be powered off prior. Here you can find everything you need to know

Finally I can use Squeezebox without a computer. I found a way to use my Siemens SE555 router as a webserver. Now I can play music from USB stick or external hard drive plugged in the router. MP3 files are stored as My Favorites on SqueezeNetwork. Just wonder does anyone have the same setting?
