Anyone else get this behaviour??
I suspect depending on what I happen to have open, is causing my
problems!! And if this is happening on Firefox/IE what other processes
hit SlimServer?

on SlimServer! SlimServer needs very little CPU time to work,
hence it's fine with something else using so much.
Why is something as innocent as GMail killing SlimServer?

It's NOT Firefox or IE, it's what's on the page... I can browse
standard HTML pages (www.bbc.co.uk this forum for example) with no
problem. There's something else at play due to what's on some pages...

Hmm. GMail is AJAXified, so it's going to be constantly hitting the
network (unlike most pages).
True... But I can be torrenting the hell out of the internet and that
has no effect on SlimServer?

OK... So I'll run it on the server and my wireless laptop and see if I
get any of the issues mentioned above...
Don't forget the major odd thing is the problem is spuradic, with the
SB being OK most of the time... :/

Been thru that a number of times in my head, and I've even gone around
turning things off/on (eg: heating) trying to deduce that.
As I type this my performance isn't back up to 100% but it is far far
better than it was 2hrs ago! Odd!
