I upgraded to 6.5 last week (_love_ the new gallery view!) but have so
far been unsuccessful with native support of Ogg Vorbis. When I hit
the FFWD button, the SB2 shows "PROBLEM: CAN'T OPEN FILE FOR:" (I
believe that's the wording I saw).

Got a problem with my SliMP3 player. It has been running just fine for
the last months and I changed exactly: nothing.
It just happened overnight.

I have 6.2.2 and SB1 wired. Connection to radioio (which had worked flawlessly
for months until recently) has returned, but now -- like happened the last two
evenings -- it suddenly stops and cannot be restarted. Other stations work
fine. This morning it's on and off with radioio, in other words

4000song library. If I try to play a complete Album from the SB it work
only if the album are at the beginning of the alpanumeric list, album at

Recently got an SB3 and a QNAP TS-101 NAS device pre-installed with

Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago when I was
attempting to create a random playlist of all my songs and the SB3

I'm running 6.5b1 (via new debian packages) on a Linux Kubuntu box.
Everything installed fine except that slimserver is not correctly
parsing the ID3 tags on about half of my mp3 files. I've got about 3000
tracks under "No Artist/No Album".

I have the SB3 for about 4 weeks and I like it a lot! But there is one
minor thing when playing music from my mp3 library.
For example: in a directory it will play only the first 2 or 3 songs.
But when I skip to the next track the SB3 gives this error message:

The Debian server is a dual proc Xeon with 2 GB RAM running a Tekram
powered SATA RAID 5. I believe machine resources should not be an issue.

We need some more info to help on this as this sort of issue is likely to be
specific to your configuration rather than generic:
1) what OS
2) what version of slimserver
3) what's the wireless network [are all devices on the same subnet?]
4) can you ping the player from the server

running today. It's showing in the plugins list, and I can browse the
