My first guess is that the newer xcode does something to the binary. I
build x86-64 on Sierra with xcode 9.2 and no one has reported the issue
for it.
I'm going to try building a 64bit MacOS 11+ only binary with xcode 12.4
to see if the same problem as the m1 build happens.

Yes, WDM-KS support is no longer included in the installer
portaudio.dll. Read the first post for details on how to change it back

Windows WDM-KS support was removed from r417.
I'm guessing the match is being made with the MME or Direct Sound device
equivalent for both scripts unless you've replaced the portaudio.dll.

I found the original file I downloaded back in June 2011. Turns out it
did come from the not so sirius files all downloads section, but is not
part of the 1.1 plugin.
