Hi Martyn..
To fix connectivity issues with DRBD
open up 2 ssh sessions to both nodes
on one SSH session for each node run the following command
watch cat /proc/drbd
this will allow you to monitor the status of the nodes as they attempt
to reconnect
on the node that states that it is secondary

Any ideas? Is primary writing to the secondary? So to recover, what
should I do? Force stop the VM by removing the fence and have the
primary disregard its data for that resource to fix the diskless state?
Does anyone know of another method to resolve this?
Also, drbdadm adjust all or even resource doesn't work either.

I upgraded to the latest packages via apt-get for proxmox. All resources came
online but two. One says diskess on all nodes in drbdadm status. But in LVM
the disk is present.
How can I reconnect to the LVM disk for DRBD9?
Thanks in advance,

google-cloud is on centos7 using drbd 8.4 (from elrepo.org). Though obviously
this is 8.4 not 9.0 and lots has changed.

Figured it out. It seems it is a DBus issue. It was caused by a bug. If you
have your volumes set to primary you configuration will not work. Set to
secondary and set auto-promote.

This will get you working that you can use DRBD9 with Proxmox 4.2. LinBit did a

I don’t have any resources on the secondary. So If there is a way to just have
it drop it all and pull from primary again that works. Or how can I repair
this state so I can get the secondary to pull
drbd
resource started without error.

Hi,
Is there a way to avoid writing the names of the hosts in the conf file?
I've noticed that there is an environment variable __DRBD_NODE__ that can be
set.
I set it to some name (LOCAL and REMOTE) but the devices won't pair. Each
side cannot identify the other.
