I looked through the archives, and I did not see a response to Steve's
question below.
I am seeing exact same behavior on my K3 now too. Using 7.07.02.
With split being turned off for no reason, it makes one a lid very quickly
in a split pileup situation.
Is there a resolution to this?

Thanks Bob.
I was not using LP Bridge at the time, but I will keep this in mind when I
do.
I suspect that using the K3 X4 rig definition may resolve it. I saw
that, but I did not know what
David,
Just curious about your beacon comment... since there are times when the
only signals on 6m are beacons, why wouldn't you want to know?
Of course, spotting beacons when the band is wide open is just poor judgment
on the spotter's part.

I don't have a Pro II any longer, but when I did it worked perfectly with

Does your interface work with other software?

Mike,
It sounds like you may have a file corruption problem.

Mike,
It sounds like you may have a file corruption problem.
I have never seen any of the errors you are reporting in well over 10 years
of using DX4win - since version 1.12. When you add a new country, no DXCC
counts ever change - unless you have qsos with that country after the start

Each time you do something on a tab, you have to go to that tab's menu and
update what you did into the database. Until you update, nothing is saved.
Click on the Mappings tab. It will be blank. Then click on the Mappings
menu. Then click add. You should now see a new blank data entry box in the

I guess the question is why do you want them separate? Unless they are in
different DXCC entities, they all get combined for DXCC purposes. So, I
don't understand what you see as a problem.
I have all of my QSOs made under all my callsigns in one log file. What I do

Tony is right that VE7CC's AR user does all of this - and more, and is free.
Why not use it?
I run the VE7CC software and only start up DX4win when I think I will
actually log something.
VE7CC feeds spots to DX4win so it appears normal in DX4win when running
both.

I must've done something wrong as I installed 7.03, merged my configuration,
copied my log files to the new directories, merged my countries file, copied
my favorite telnet addresses to the new TCP file, and... everything works.
Just like the last time, and the many times before that.

You need to adjust the start and end dates for those countries that have
changed identities such as the YU.
To do so, close your log file leaving DX4Win running. Select File,
Databases, Countries. Locate the old Yugoslavia and enter the start and end
dates that match the current countries list.
