I ran into this as well. It was a bit tricky but here is what worked:

Cable from headphone out of soundboard to the line in jack on back of K3
Now the tricky part: Select LINE IN as input first! Then set the gain as you
would a mike gain, otherwise the K3 sees zero input from the
KRX3 was ordered 5/8/07. Katiegram states order to be shipped within the next

I tried to use a K3 in the IOTA contest on SSB but ran into a problem.
I couldn't figure out how to satisfactory key the K3 with wave
files from N1MM Logger and also use a Heil Headset. Reading the manual
it appears that you can have audio input from ONLY the front panel, rear
panel, OR line in.
Guess it was storing the FTP layout in cache. My bad. I hate rookie
mistakes...
