bothered to look in an index if the document is available in PDF. However, I
become very dependent upon the index (and often frustrated chasing

Kenwood CS-2110 100MHZ Scope dual trace. Picked up from Lamar University
Auction along with other stuff in Misc LOT sale. Has power cord but no probes

I wonder if other setting on the K3, such as AGC, Width, NR have an impact
on how some perceive the APF? I can't believe how the signals pop out with
the APF. I have only used it on topband so far. But KH2 and 9Q could not be
heard with my pennant receive antennas. They popped out of the noise and
I will probably kick myself later for doing this but right now I feel the
need to downsize my station some. That means no more SO2R. So I have the

radios is extensive. There are a number of areas I would like to see
expanded upon, one that comes to mind is transmit and receive audio

Now that 4.22 is an official release, I loaded it into my K3 4290 tonight.
After having read so much about the APF I couldn't wait to try it. I must
admit, I was a bit concerned it wouldn't live up to the hype. I needn't

out in excess of 100 watts on all bands when set for 30 watts. An
interesting thing though... the radio acted fine when I first started
testing, then suddenly went to bad behavior.

Remove the KPA100 shield and check the diodes with your ohmmeter. There
are other possible faults that could have crept into your KPA100
wattmeter circuits, but the diodes are the first suspects since that is

1) A Faraday Shield often works better than a shield grounded at both
