I built one of their 140 watt amps for a 20 meter HB SSB rig. I only have
it configured for one band, 20 meters, but left room to add filters for all

2.5volts, however I can peak them ok, but the voltage is well over
4volts and the L4 slug is almost out of the former.

Trying the MH2 hand mic everything works perfectly, there is no noise and using
the monitor,
my speech sounds normal.
The problem with the Proset also occurs if I try and turn on the K3 manually.

In the XV144 manual Initial setup Part 1 Stage 2 it states removal of L17
for all except XV432.
Stage 3 has L17 preset to 2 turns down from the top of the inductor can for
a XV144
Should it be left as per stage 2 or fitted as per stage 3?
