Anyway, my real reason for writing, the 2.66 code on the KX2 was great to
work with for digital operations. No fussing with modes while jumping
between different MIC settings, audio cables and such. A real pleasure to
work with the radio now... Thanks!

Hi,
I notice that the KX2 only displays to the 10’s of hz and also only allows
tuning to 10’s of Hz in all modes except data. Am I missing something? Can I
tune to the Hz?
Thanks, Tom

I am unable to erase the CW Memories in my KX3. I've followed the procedure
in the Owners Manual and in Fred Cady's book.
Would appreciate any help.

Correct, something has to be plugged into the jack (a mic or soundcard) before
the KX2 will let you change those two in particular.

Mike,
Do you have a mic plugged in? If not the KX2 is in internal mic mode.
Also, make sure you are not in data mode... the KX2 won't let you change some
of those settings in data mode.

Well lo and behold. This time I received an email confirmation. I do not
have one from when I placed the order a few weeks ago.
Funny, Ron in sales says they do NOT send an email confirmation.

Hi,
Well it seems that the order I placed never made it into the Elecraft
computers. So KX2 support will be at least 4 weeks out for Win4K3.
Off to place the order again.
And no, emails are only sent when shipped.

The reason I ask is that early this month I ordered a bunch of stuff and I
remember seeing the web page confirmation but I do not seem to have any email.
Does one get sent?
Thanks, Tom

On the KX2 I am set at 5W out (not the full 10W due to duty cycle of the
digital I use) and I am still getting the full 5W out with the battery pack
about half depleted (if I believe the amp hours reading).

ower it up, and it is
not plugged into anything, does it act like it is looped, and all the
knobs seem to work, and the VFO's etc move? Or does it act like a K3 in
the remote mode, but with out a RS-232 connection, and just sit there?
Thank you
Hi
I agree that those devices were good. I have an emu 0404. They will indeed
continue to use the old beta driver.

YMMV, but you can always order the screw if you have an epic fail.
