I am sure it is not high on Elecraft's list of 'things to do' and so it may
be quite a while before the information you seek is released.

That's exactly, as you Americans would say, the 'way to go'. I am always a
little saddened to read of someone who has a top end transceiver yet who is
new to the hobby and probably too does not have a background of short wave
listening. I can only imagine how much there is to learn, espec

Each new version of the firmware (including beta versions) comes with a

change that the update includes dating back to MCU 1.65 and DSP 1.52, 1-28-08.

Thanks SO much for listening to our "issues" and then taking positive action

Wayne,
Thanks for my K3 and by extension the manual both in paper and pdf.
I may be in the minority - this is my second radio with only about 6 months
experience before purchasing the K3. The manual was instrumental in getting

Thanks Wayne. When it is ready I will incorporate it into my K3 Micro Manual.
Should make a very valuable supplement.

Hmmm ... I can't speak to "Another Don's" sales conjecture, but I don't
think basic tech writing skill is the root problem of this discussion.

No, it wouldn't. A wiki wouldn't be organized any better than the
current K3 manual. The K3 manual suffers less from not having enough
important information than it does from being structured like it was
written by an engineer who felt he had more important things to do.

What happened to the K3 wiki? Wouldn't that be a good place for users to
