Yes, that is the new diode for D10. Unfortunately the manuals have not
caught up with the parts available.

Aaron,
HiCur messages are a symptom, but not the "disease".
It can mean that you might have a bad connection in your antenna system
or something similar.
Test into a dummy load to tell if it is a K2 problem or an antenna
problem. If it works into a dummy load, then the antenna is the problem.
I'm running PSK31 on 20 meters with my K2 and FLDigi. At any power level
the display reads HI Cur every time I go to transmit. I'm not sure if I
have something set wrong or what.

Set the CAL CUR to 3.50 Amps - I know the manual says 2.50 Amps, but
many K2s will develop more than 15 watts and that requires more than
2.50 amps when the power control is set to full right. I do not
recommend operating that way, limit the power setting to 12 watts or less.

to BAR with back lighting on.
Just got a new power meter and noted my actual output is about half what I'm
setting it with power control.

I built K2 #6673 last week, and everything works well, except for a high
current warning on 15 meters. The current is set at 3 amps.

The KSB2 Adapter operating instructions (page 22) indicate that CAL
CUR should be set to a maximum of 3.5 amps. Mine is set to 3.5 amps
and under some conditions I get an HI CUR using a Heil ICM microphone.
I use the lower mic gain setting and the K2 seems to work very well.

When keying up my K2 in SSB at 10 watts I get a momentary flash of high
current. Is this a sign of a problem? Seems like there is a setting in the
menu in regards to this, but want to be sure before I do anything. The
transmit is fine, just the momentary flash of high current.

That may or may not be an indication of a problem. Check the CAL CUR
setting first - with the QRP K2 it should be set to 2.50 or higher - if
you have the KPA100 it must be set to 3.50 or higher.
Due to the way the K2 power is controlled, a low power source voltage
will cause a Hi Cur

I believe you may have 2 problems.
The LO BAT indication - check the jumper or switch on the control board
just to the right of center - if it is a switch, be certain it is
positioned to the left (INT) position, but if you have a post-SN3000 K2,
the switch has been replaced with a
I have K2/100 #3132 with the 160m, SSB, and DSP modules installed. I am
also using a KAT100. I have had this set up for a couple of years. The
power source is a battery that is being charged as I am operating. My
antenna is a Zirpel (like a Carolina Windom). The KAT100 is able to find
a match
When I first transmit (CW or SSB) I get High Current shown. It disappears
immediately and does not return - until the next time I turn the rig off and
back on.

shoot up to 19-20 W and a high current message would come up.

the limit to 3.5A, so something is not right. The voltage drops about 1V
from 13.5 to 12.5 as well using the K2 meter. I have a 25 amp PS, and

The most probable cause of Hi Cur is the low pass filter - check the number
of turns on toroids L25 and L26, check the capacitor values in the 40 meter
low pass filter and check the soldering, particularly the toroid leads.
