Hi i am new to linux and E=mc2, can anyone help me to work out how to
install hal components for my VFD i am using E=mc2 v 2.4 and ubantu 10.04.
I have gone through lots of documentation trying to solve how to do this and
must be missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Viesturs
would you be so good as to post your INI and HAL files?
I want to finish support for 3pwm in pncconf and could
use a reference.

Aram,
Your request to simplify the pendant to be plug and play is not consistent
with your desire to have EMC2 flexible. If you want EMC2 to be flexible you
should like seeing the 'mile long code' as this allows a lot of different
configurations. If EMC2 becomes all plug and play then you will be

After having more exper
I was thinking about doing that - I got so tired of trying to get the
second parallel port to work I was going to build an intermediary
board that sat between the machine and the stepper driver and could
take control of the lines, thus giving you a
no-configuration-necessary pendant installation.

I have been thinking about this question for a while now.
It also has been discussed on the mailing list sometime this year -
You can take a look at archives.
IMHO there are 2 options:
1) original EMC was suppos

Based on Andy's suggestion I was able to find out that motor has 4
poles, just like Jon suggested. Yesterday morning I managed to get PID

Hello
Is there are new development in wiring pendant to EMC2?
I mean wiring pendant without wring mile long code.
Making wiring pendant part of EMC2 ?
Thanks

Is it possible to synchronize 2 or 3 or 4 different EMC2 systems?
The idea is to make system similar to MAZAK multiplex lathe - 2 machine in
