Yes, I remember getting that on all of our clients (about 6)--couldn't remove any of them with setup. I ended up following http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833396/ to find the program registry references, unregistering the dlls with regsrv32 /u, and deleting the leftover folders/files by hand.
