1) It's very loud. If I start kde+netscape it uses all RAM (160 MB)

Well, may I point out how disappointed I am with LM7.0. I think mandrake
should set their sights at being the BEST and not at being the FIRST. I was
very very surprised at how quickly 7.0 came out of beta, that alone made the

to get it to work. This loads the uniprocessor kernel. What is the use, I
have a dual proc system. The odd thing is that 6.1 didn't have that problem.

Compaq 5640/5670 running LM6.1. The card has Dolby surround stereo,
radio tuner and remote control. TV seems to work OK, but overlay is

I installed 7.0 on a Toshiba laptop that was running 6.0 It was clean
(format the HD) install so nothing was carried over (Except for /home).
In 6.0 the PCMCIA modem was working in 7.0 it isn't. I looked a little
bit deeper into it and it looks like the whole PCMCIA subsystem is not
working.
