You haven't stated if you did a fresh install of LM 8.0 or an upgrade or which kernel you are using. I may be incorrect in this but I believe that if you are using the 2.4.x kernel you do not need the /etc/ispnp config in your system. You might try renaming this /etc/isapnp file and then reboot th
