1) For some reason i can´t make use of SSH when i install Mandrake with
High security it just says "ssh: arnold.math.ku.dk: Temporary failure
in name resolution". If i configure it with medium security this is not

What are you trying to | (pipe) into date?
If you just want the current date and time, determine what format you want
it in, then set that in the script. Is this as shell script, or perl
script?

While I have no firsthand knowledge of using a DVI monitor, I know that the
nVidia closed-source driver for 4.1.0 supports DVI. Don't know if current
driver works in 4.2.0 or not.

Well I found out why I had to buy Suse 7.3 instead of downloading trying
out first
before I buy that's because it's no good. During installation it locked
numerous times;
had to finish the install in safe mode just so I could get to the
desktop, it can't detect
monitors and is very buggy once
I got it.
I gave up on the Guppi.xxx.xxx-mdk.rpm, and got the one off of Ximian.
It installed without complaint. Following that, GnuCash installed, and
is running.
