Hi guys,
I have a semi OT question about packet filter firewalls.
Up till now, I have used linux IPCHAINS and IPTABLES firewalls were one was
required, and never had a problem...
I just got hold of a DLINK DSL504 and set it up with a mixture of NAT and
portforwarding.. all of which went fine.
Jack, still don't see any posts by me, so forward it to the list if it
may help others.
I will try un- and re-subscribing to expert... :-/

I'd ask d-link, but IIRC some of these commercial products are set up so
that they won't portforward to a NAT'd address, or will only portforward
to a single NAT, or won't portforward at all but instead make you put
the server on a "DMZ" cable, which is naked to the world. Idea being to
make you bu

Hey,
Sorry for the OT, but I just received an email for a product called
'soundpix' which allows you to embed sound in a standard jpeg. I thought
that sounded cool, but I don't want to buy the software and then realize
all I had to do was download a gimp plugin or something else that simple.

How do I manipulate grsec? I've set up Mozilla's Bonsai system which
requires the cvs server to execute a perl script on every check in, but it
fails because grsec says I'm not a trusted user.

I'm trying to set up a generic postscript printer via the KDE print system

For all:
If you're a kde fan, the best way is to drag (as user) the kcontrol icon in
/usr/bin to the panel creating an instant one click shortcut, and then you
have an instant access to the entire kde control center window, where it's
all available to do anything you want in kde configuration.
