a friend of mine has a USB-memory-stick, I have never tried to connect it to my
Mandrake
9.1, but I want to try it...so what line you would insert into fstab to enable
auto-mount/umount of that medium?
An example would be very nice,

I have used K3B under both supermount, and no supermount. It has worked fine.
My only problems with K3B were when I was using different GUI burners:
X-CD-Roast and the like. The config programs all attempt to access the burner
in diffe
I just plugged mine in and it was detected automatically. I'm using 9.1 with a stock
kernel and devfsd and supermount both enabled (not sure it would make a difference,
though). It ended up adding a desktop icon to KDE, like the CD-ROM icon plus I could
access it manually from /mnt/removable.

have been using for sharing desktop 0 (unlike vnc it doesn't spawn a new
virtual X terminal but rather actually shares the one the user is using

I've downloaded k3b 0.9pre2 and compiled, and it goes a lot further
with burning audio cds.
I'm now getting a new failure this time from cdrecord error 254.
the compile is very heavy on lib useage
the compile took 1/2 hr on a 1.2G machine
