Does MDK 6.0 support dual monitors? If not is there an update to XFree
to support them? If it does not support it can I still have 2 video cards (
for Photoshop, Illustrator pallets)? If so how does XFree decide which card
to use?
Thanks,

IIRC, X does not yet support

Then install the proper pre-compiled kernel package which would

Garner Printing,
I know this is off topic but I need an answer and I know yall can help :)
Does it matter what order you put the wires in the rj45 as per color as
long as it is the same on both ends of the cable? I am having hell getting
a cable to work! The cable is going from computer to hub and id cat5 wire.

You should keep the pairs together, but other than that, no, AFAIK, it
doesn't matter which order the pairs are in, as long as you keep 'em

Has anyone got this card to work under LM6 in X/KDE? I can get X to run

using the generic so that must mean there is a problem with drivers I

I am running LM 6 and have a isa pnp SB16. If I enable sound support and
the SB driver it needs the irq, dma and soforth information. I do not know
since it is pnp. What is the proper way to set this up?

I am running LM 6 with the kenel that was installed at at install. All
is working but if things are the same as they were in LM 5.2 I can save
some memory by compiling my own kernel. I have only used a monolithic
kernel and copied it to a floppy to boot from as lilo would always hang on

When you compile new modules (with 'make modules modul
Short answer here:
Modules for a newly compiled kernel will be put in a separate directory.
Have a look at /lib/modules
You'll find a dir there named after the version number of your kernel.
Compile a new kernel and modules will be put in a dir named after that new
kernel's version number.

I installed Mandrake 6.0 some weeks ago. Everything

the ones I need? Also can I install on top of 1.0? Any info to help smooth
