wireless-tools to load your card.
There in wireless-tools is commandprogram named "iwconfig" what
handles wireless.opts.

Devfs is somehow buggy according messages in kernel list..
I simply disabled devfs and recompiled kernel,
"so" much error-reports.
Had in mind to downgrade,but it seems,that 8.2 is waiting at the door,
so fresh install and life is good after...eh?

Couldn't run COMPRESS from /etc/logrotate.conf
because of missing PATH in /etc/crontab

I did made expert/developement install and all telnet stuff was
installed,only thing what disabled its use was xinitd.
Even xinitd daemon started and telnetd started telnet didn't
work.
But when I started INITD instead of XINITD telnet worked.

uses XINETD...also reads XINETD.CONF...so you have to edit
xinetd.con or activate INET,whic uses INETD.CONF where telnet
and ftp etc are configured...Anyway I managed get telnet working
by activating INET in bootup.
