Yes, that's what supermount does; it keeps trying the drive to see what's there. "supermount disable" will clobber it and allow you to run a nice simple Unix-like environment again. (On most systems checking the CD isn't such an expensive operation so it's not a big deal.) On Sun, 26 Mar 200
