There is no automatic way to have this happen. One of the supposed
strengths of the new Simple Entry is that you can program your own
keyboard shortcuts, and save them as a set. I suggested a while back

Thanks to everyone who tried to help me. It looks like it's a Win98SE
problem and I'll have to do the vertical spacing by hand.
Next questions would be: are there any other Win98SE users who
experience the same chrash with JW Space Systems?

I have a single treble clef stave and and each line starts open

for the left barline, but it doesn't show.
How can I get each stave to start with a barline on the left (to the
left of the clef)?

I've been thrown by the change in keyboard shortcuts in simple entry.
Being on a powerbook with no number keypad, I'm used to using the top
number row to select note lengths, and keys like r, #, and b to
select rests, sharps and flats. Now they are picking different things
like note pitches.

I mainly use the computer for music, e mail, browsing, pictures and word

After 30 days without registering, Finale 2004 is still usable but

This is causing me quite a bit of grief as the Opus Font, for example, is a
truetype or PS font, and so doesn't appear at all on the screen.

I chime in with the others. This is the first I've heard of such a notion;

Try the Lyrics menu: Update Hyphens
There was a bug in FinWin2004, I couldn't see any hyphens in some files with
autohyphens on, it's been fixed in 2004b update so maybe on Mac it's still
there...
good luck,

Hello,

Does this happen in the Windows version?
