Hello
I also live in sunny Fl. and has done so for almost 25 years. I have a farm
north of Ocala and also a residence in Spring hill Fl. Our animals send
time in both places. The summers at both places can get pretty hot. I have
never had to clip
per day
(once by me) so to keep his gut moving.

I live very near where you visited. I'm in north Brevard county in Mims.
The Silver Sands Bridle Club would be a good source of information.

Hello Fjord Friends!
Someone recently wrote to the list looking for fjord
people in Florida. A few weeks ago I was in Edgewater
visiting relatives. I am seriously considering
relocating to the Volusia county area in the fall from
the arctic
. I think it is a great place to
visit, but I didn't like living there.

We have lived in Florida for almost 5 years and almost
4 years with the fjords. It took the horses awhile to
acclimate to the extreme heat that you get in the
summer here. You have to be prepared to clip them in
the winter and the first

I've also heard that sand colic is an issue for horses in Florida. I was
told by someone who lives down there they have a regimen of some sort of
feed through on a regular basis to purge the sand.
Oh, and the summers are wicked hot and
