[Flexradio] Rx issues with Flex 1500 after upgrading to 2.0.16

2010-11-15 Thread Bill Diaz
I am experiencing Rx issues after upgrading the Flex 1500 to PowerSDR 2.0.16. 1. Click and crackles in receive audio on some signals. Click sounds like a relay switching. Intermittant in nature, seems to be more prevalent with stronger signals. Buffer set to max size, 2048. 2. Panadapter

I have noticed some crackling in the receive audio on my 1500 with the audio level slider at the highest setting, that seems to go away if I back it down some. I assumed it was just overdriving the amplified speakers I am using. 73/72 - Mike WA8BXN ---Original Message---

Bill, I have asked engineering to see if they can reproduce cracking audio. I have not seen this before here. We are working now on increasing the sensitivity of the wide band image rejection (WBIR) algorithm, which should clear up those moving images you are seeing. 73, Gerald Gerald
