I have the Windows Vista RC2 32 bit operating system, seems to be ok so far.
I have the SDR-1000 running on it with the Edirol sound card.
Also used the Presonus Firebox sound card ok.
Could not get the USB driver to work.
My built parallel port works ok, could get the pci parallel card to wor
I have used my SDR-1000 with the Presonus and Editrol firewire sound cards on
my Vista 32 computer with no problems.
Also used both on Windows Media Edition 2005.

Hello there.
I bought a Sony laptop a week ago with the Vista operating system.
I am using a USB to Parallel cable supplied by Flex but am unable to install
the driver
I get a message saying USB Devise not found (-4)
Also I am unable to install the driver for Firebox sound card!

Does anyone have experience with 64bit Vista? Is it more stable than
the 32 bit? If I use Vista, explorer has to reset itself probably 3-4
times a week and once a month I have to repair the OS from its
installation dvd once a month. It really is on the border of unusable

I don't think that it is Apple code, maybe some Unix or Linux code,
which the Apple OS is based on. I don't consider Quick Time to be very
stable... :-| Unix is much more stable, but the GUI (Graphical
User Interface) is not as user friendly or has the "Eye Candy" that

The Delta 44 drivers are unsigned and if Vista demands it, the M-Audio
has a decision to make. DO NOT disable your ability to run PowerSDR
unless and until you are certain M-Audio has Vista approved drivers.

services that aren't need, in order to lighten the prrocess(or) load.
Today's "Windows Secrets" newsletter mentioned this freeware program

It might be a great utility buy make sure you are making the
decisions and not the tool. Its like guys running registry
cleanup/fixers. They find hundreds of "issues" and we blindly click
"fix all" then when we reboot the system doesn't work and we resort to
the "Use last known good configuration"
