failed tests after all other tests have been completed, but I'm not 100%

audio pickup seems to be way too sensitive, as I have to set VOX to
full scale (1000), and even that setting is still overly sensitive.

Have you tried opening up the fan opening in the cabinet? I used a
nibbling tool to cut all the area containing the tiny little holes out
and the noise went down dramatically. Next I will probably remove the
filter - way too dense for the job.

Brian,
I used the Winkey keyer in a MicroHam Micokeyer this weekend, but from N3FJP
logger rather than N1MM. It worked perfectly with no timing issues at all.
It is very difficult for any program to generate perfect code when you are
sharing resources

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does not a program such as N1MM send a
character string through a COM or USB port to an external keyer which
then converts it to a string of opens

For what it's worth, neither the KW or KY commands are listed in the
latest flexRadio Cat Command
WOW! - after only two days, bid is up to $681 for this special
receive only model. If/when I ever sell my conventional SDR-1000, I
think I may split it into two pieces first (one rare RX only model
and another rare TX only model!) ;-)
