TiBook slow to sleep

Hi, My Wallstreet (10.2.2) goes to sleep instantaneously when I select sleep from tha Apple menu. I have tried this in two other machines, and sleep is almost instantaneous too. My new TiBook (1GHz Superdrive 10.2.3) takes more than 20 seconds before the screen goes black. Is this supposed to

Ibook ultra slow at opening

Mark, I use a PowerBook G3 Lombard running OS X and a PowerMac 8600 running OS 9.2 and have no problem connecting from the 8600 to the Lombard. I connect through the chooser via AppleTalk over Ethernet. I ran into a similar problem trying to connect the 8600 to a W2K server. I solved it by
