thanks allot clark i have been looking for a fix to that for

to the happy comp screen then flickers then boots 10.and this wont
work in classic modeit wont even boot off a 9 install cd.so im

Have you tried resetting the PRAM? Resetting the Wallstreet itself? I

imagine that you can't boot in 9. Have you been able before to boot
from the
same OS 9 install CD you're trying? Maybe something is corrupted in
your OS
9 partition, on your hard drive, so that might explain why it does

my comp is still having thoes strange brightness issuesso i checked
all the crash logs and came up with this:

hey listIn mac os 9 there is a clean install mode that only
replaces the system filesbut this also replaces extensions so your
apps wont work...Does os X (10.2) have a clean install and if so
will all my apps be alright.?

I was thinking.I have only been in os X for a little while and had
not had to do anything inside my computer.so that would mean that I
have never taken out my batteryso my pram would have never
reset..but I recently took my bat out and the next time I turned it

Well, it depends on your headphones! Good headphones are *very*
revealing -- even high quality MP3s can sound terrible.
If even high quality imports sound bad you might want to make sure that
the headphones are actually as good as you say..It might be them
thats making all your imports
I may be missing something but it seems that the obvious answer would
be to go into your itunes preferences and lower the importing
quality.. If you are only listening to it on headphones you
probably wont even notice the quality degradation.

I had a walstreet '98 w/out the L2 cach and I found a newer 266mhz 1mb L2
cach laptop. So of course I opened them up and swiched them! It works
great and my g3 if blazin fast! but I've got a 512 in the top and a 64
in the bottem. My comp only reconises 256 of the top and 64 of the
bottem! :(
Hi I own a G3 233mhz M4753 that I bought off ebay. It's upgraded to
192mb ram and a 20gb Toshiba HD. I need a firewire port to do some video
editing.
