Something that might be worth looking up online is a custom gaming rig
someone build a few years back with a Socket A AMD mobo in a
Quicksilver case. That might give you some ideas on how to get the
power supply to fit. I believe he called it the Poison Apple. Try

I got a pismo g3 400. without screen and hd. case broken but all other
hardware is ok.
I plan to obtain a Pismo screen from ebay and convert it to a picture frame
with iTunes server ability or pre-anfi.

I wasn't able to reseat the processor/heatsink yet. I did install iStat Pro
however it shows only temperatures on hard drive so that's not too much help.
Are there any processor temperatures anywhere on this machine?

I don't think the QS 2002 Dual 1GHz (I have one, too) has temperature
sensors. I never could find a measure of
esp dual CPUs I have had anything to do with run
hotter than any of the previous G4 series.
In saying that though you can reduce the heat quite a bit by a reapplication of
the thermal paste between the processor and heatsink.
You can also buy third party cooling fans to help reduce temps too

2009. My deal compared to urs was a way rip off. where in the world can you
buy a mdd 1.0Ghz for $25? o_0. What kind of a world do we live in where
something not as good is more expensive?
