Ciao Jody,
I am kind of puzzed here (maybe it's time to go to bed) since I do not
understand why you are talking about controling decimation.
My base goal with the Geometry --> Shape converters was to move them outsie
of the renderer
in order to be able to leverage on them from the coverage proc

Heads up x2
You are probably not going to get a geoserver branch; everyone is doing
everything they can to slow down and work together (a branch runs counter to
that - it allows you to move quickly but alone).
Justin perhaps it would be good if you outlined the conditions under which you

Hi Simboss; just a follow up to our question on how to separate out the
Geometry -> Shape transition from the rendering code. Since we will be
defining no new API we do not need a proposal for this one; you have my
permission as module maintainer to package up the code in *main*; and I
seem to

Right - I understand what you are doing. But what we really want is you
to update "the 1000 bugs" caused when the geotools codebase switches to
FeatureTypeBuilder and FeatureBuilder.
We need you to do this work (or organize a work party of volunteers to
get it done). Basically put it in your pl

Hi GeoTools community, hi Jody.
Thanks a lot for your clarification, Jody. I wasn't happy with all answers got,
but this is another story and shall be told another time. But I think I got the
idea of what the GeoAPI/GeoTools expressions APIs are up to.
I should note that I started my own, more

Hi Andrea,
Yup, they should work just fine. The old kvp parsing is still used by
wms and wcs.
It would also be pretty trivial to have the old stuff use gtxml to parse
the filters like wfs does. Either or. Regardless we should ensure that
the gtxml based parser incorporates the patch to the old

Hi Justin,
I've finished the first part of the now working FILTER support in WMS,
wondering how to port it to trunk.
A quick look seems to suggest WMS is still using old kvp parsing,
so I can simply apply the patches from 1.5.x and they should still
apply ok, right?
Cheers

Sure thing Andrea, sorry about the lack of notice (I had my machine
stripped down to a bare hard drive last week) - looks like I missed
a full weekend of email.

Hi everyone, if you want to stop by the IRC channel 1 hour prior to our
weekly meeting it would be slick.
For an agenda I would like to cover the following:
- short term road map for unsupported/geometry
- short term road map for unsupported/jts-wrapper
- porting JTS geometry testing framework (s

Hi Vitali - I am not aware of MapServer WFS Post being very good. At
one point uDig has a table showing what WFS worked and what did not -
MapServer was usually in the non working column based on a different

We have some problems with MapServer as a WFS server.
Problems concern FILTER encoding.
