Dear all:
This is just to let you know that Goanet is building up an active presence
on Facebook. It was initiated by the late Tony de Sa of Moira, a long-term
friend and helpful volunteer of many years whom we sadly lost during the
pandemic. Currently, Fatima Pais at Delhi takes care

with the world, but sits back and does nothing, thinking: 'What good is giving?
That is useless.'”
It appears that internet postings provide an easy and cost-free platform to
display the above characteristics. Reading this made me understand why Goanet
may be so much in the decline and why
dition awaits publication.

1) I am at a loss as to who the reference of Bob Mugabe is vis-a-vis Goanet.
2) You have still not attempted
I too agree with Eugene that the BIG DUO( Fred and Herman) are the ideal
individuals to
take on this task.
I am a comparative new comer to goanet having been introduced to this
forum by my good
friend Cornel D'Costa who, as has already been expressed, is sorely missed
and who contributed much
Well, I think Goanet has spewed out millions of words over the past
(almost) 20 years, so there need not be a shortage of words returned to it
at a time like this. I disagree with Eugene that only one or two people
need to be chroniclers of the Goanet story. There are bound to be

personally, (a small town boy from a little village in Goa), the advent of
Goanet was a life changing event. Unfortunately, I lack the talent to put my
thoughts succinctly into words, unlike the majority of posters
Someone wrote to me today: I think somebody should write a book on the
Goanet story. Or maybe you could compile an anthology. Its given rise to
loads of talent, writers, books and whatnot. Think about it.
To be fair, it has also given rise to some enmities, disagreements,
bitterness and fights
