I felt those same frustrations for three years of ownership. On my early '93
ECU I finally set the pots to the 1 o'clock position as recommended by a
fellow GTS rider who had done some experimentation and it TRANSFORMED the
machine! Finally! The surging wasn't totally gone, but 75% was eliminated.
