flat spot and how adjusting your pot will...uh, I mean adjusting the
'pots' can help that problem.
And the tire threadthis is a never ending subject. Tires WILL make a
difference in ride and performance, the big trick is to figure out which

Check the radiator cap. If it even slightly loose, it will do some of
the things you have indicated. It might also be worn out. (The springs
fatique inside, reducing the pressure the cap requires.)

There are some companies that make rifle holders that you can bolt to
your bike with brackets. It would seem that a little adjustment to the
racks and you could carry the foils with ease. Or pool sticks, fishing

According to Mike Coan, you can use any slip-on muffler with a piece of
bent tubing in between. I believe that several folks have used this
approach.
Also: (cut and paste here :^))
Anthony Grafals; I bought a carbon fiber Vance & Hines SS2R slip on for
a'97 YZF-750 and put it on the G
It works great, its easy and if you don't
'bear' down on the knife, it won't harm the plastic on the throttle
side.

Heh. Interesting question.
My experience has been, that when the bike 'falls' over, (DOH!), mine
has usually landed in a 3 point stance. The rubber piece at the knee
area, a front foot peg, and the front tire. However, if the wheel is
turned out in the fall, the little gray rubber strip on the sw
r items too.

Great story Robert! Sounds like a great trip. Well, mostly. Eating on

(I LIKE these stories as of late. And again, almost on-topic. ;^)
se, they seem to work fine. I keep the battery in my tank bag
along with my walkman which plugs into it. It has a seperate jack just
for that. The music will mute when transmitting or recieving. You can
also hook up a passenger unit to it, although I've never done it. (No
unit and no passenger
have. (2nd from left) What kind or
brand is it? I cut a Lockhart windshield down to get a similair effect,
low profile, but it was a pain to do. It doesn't look like the stocker
either.
