Jim lost DNS resolution for hardwaregroup.com. With SSL, I don't think you can do
that and any router issues would affect more

interchange. Thunderbird simply errors immediately on "check" w/o rcvng

Since Yahoo does not let @yahoo.com users pop3/smtp I'd have to assume there is a
proxy/gateway setup for bellsouth customers and it's causing or getting timeouts from
yahoo's server.

(?in TX) to an ATT/Yahoo email server in Santa Clara, CA. This switch,
with entropy, took ~72hrs.
ATT/Bellsouth seem to report the switch is now complete.
