It is not clear to me from the manual if PLO does a trial instruction
verifying that the storage areas can be changed.
For example, if PLO.CSDST is issued, are the possible results (assuming that
nothing screws around with the page tables):
1. 0C4 on operand1
2. Operand1 stored, 0c4 on operand2

You can delete these datasets by function of DFSMSHSM called DELETE BY AGE.

Hi,

Is it possible to know how many subroutine calls are done per IMS
transaction in BMPs and MPPs?
These are my reflections when I was thinkin
Hi Jan,
I'll try to answer your questions but I can't cover all aspects. Just give
some general ideas.
The CF Hint functionality is for duplexed structures and is designed to
ensure that the
instance at SITE2 is used in the case of a SITE1 disaster.
This functionality is available in GDPS/HM V3.3.
Jan,

I would say you also need alternate couple datasets to be in the site

About OA11719, the so-called 'CF HINT' functionality, with the SITE

duplexed structures.

Hi Jan,
See APAR OA11719 which provides new function in this area:
Coupling Facilities can now be defined with either SITE(SITE1)
or SITE(SITE2) using the IXCMIAPU utility.

You answered yourself. PREFLIST.
In case of further investigation: you can have multiple CFRM policies
with different PREFLISTs.
Assuming it is a GRS star:
if he loses site1 with a CFRM policy without a site2 CF, he loses the
controlling system, too. That is surely a disadvantage.
