It's near impossible, most decent routers for instance will not allow IP address that is supposed to be on one side of an interface to talk from the other side of that interface. There is also a problem of getting the spoofed packet to your network in the first place, it has to be routed there.

I don't understand your email very well. I don't know if you either use relay for address plus SMTP authentication or just SMTP authentication. If you can find the logs (in the logs file) that show why you believe your server was used as a mail relay server, please post them to study them. How

Can Imail tag emails as spam, based on a local  IP list ??   How can I do that ??   I Tried with the SMTP access, but then I can't edit this list programatically..or can I??     ( Then I would try to extract the IP addresses from a mailbox where I know there is  only spam... hopefully block

    I'm noticing some very odd traffic, at first I thought it was Sobig.F but it is not, it is Spam, somehow someone is using 3 of my virtuals (only 3) to send out spam, I've run the abuse.net relay checker on all 3 and they come up clean, I guess all I know is as long as those 3 ip
