When A student forgets a password either I or my assistant reset it
to a default password and require that the password be changed on
first log in

1) I change passwords, I would like to set up a web interface so a student can
change a forgotten password, but not there yet.
2)No lists of passwords 7-12, yes list K-6 each teacher has their students
passwords.

I keep a list (spreadsheet) of all user credentials. I keep a hard copy filed
in the office. If someone forgets their password, they come to me, and I can
print them off a copy of the login sheet they were given at the beginning of
the year. I will generally change their password at this
1. Reset the password. I do.
2. No, I don't need them.
3. More for the sake of the staff than the students, the passwords do not
expire.

office. Or leave me a note.
